Behind every image we see, hundreds, thousands of pixels work tirelessly together to deliver a finished image for our enjoyment. Society has outsourced this task to them as a means of censorship, shielding innocent eyes from harmful images. However, all the hard work these pixels put into creating an image is now being weaponized to do the exact opposite—make it unrecognizable.
This is my tribute to them and their thankless job. They simplify the placement of colors in a unique and precise pattern for our primitive minds to process, understand, and in most cases, ungratefully discard.
This is their moment to shine in their truest and raw form. Here’s to the square bandits, the color soldiers, and the pattern tribe.
